Too damn true

I figured it was about time I updated this thing, and in celebration here's a meme (taken from several people). I'm only doing the first part as I will never, ever, in a million years have enough time to do the rest!

This week I have gained more of an appreciation of what many of my friends overseas go through in winter as New Zealand has been hit by a once-in-a-lifetime polar blast. Not that I've had to wade through several inches of snow, but actually seeing snow fall in Wellington and people being snowed in out in the suburbs has been eventful! I'm extremely grateful for the long wool coat I purchased a couple of weeks back!

Anyway... pimping time! I hardly ever do this but here goes...

I'm really enjoying Absolution (post-DH RPG, absolutionmods)), which has a great cast, but I would love to see more people there. Especially 6th years! Also the 7th year Ravenclaw girls dorm is a bit on the empty side. The mods include the lovely Hayley (girlnumber20 and Patricia (nentari) who are doing an awesome job with plot! Also there are lots of open storylines to help inspire muses!

The other game I've just joined is Feinted (feintedmods), which is a next-gen game based around a international Quidditch tournament between Hogwarts, Durmstrang, Beauxbatons and Salem. There are spots open to play characters from the international schools - and right now Durmstrang and Beauxbatons is looking a bit bare so characters are definitely needed! The other great thing is that you get to choose the families rather than them being chosen for you! Those who remember my Charles MacFusty in The Societies and Georgie Doyle from Brave New World will find them there. The game hasn't yet opened, but everyone is super nice! :)

Aside from that, I'm happy to say that my exams are over and I am 100% confident I passed them. How well is another matter, but it's enough to be sure I didn't bomb. :)

Japanese language exam done! And I'm sure I passed it too.

Now I just have to spend the next three days cramming for the Japanese culture and history exam. *SIGHS*

The reactions to Nate's first post amuse me so much. He's so not interested in famous people... idk, maybe it's the isolation. ^^ Also he's less offended by the reactions than some seem to think. XD

Aside from that I've been a bit 'meh' about role play lately.

Apologies to those I RP with for disappearing over the last day. My grandmother had a bad fall and it was touch & go for a while, but the tough old lady has pulled through and is fine. So, I'm catching up on RPG things now!

Well my hiatus may last longer than I expected. High winds and rain have closed down roads and therefore means I may not be getting home today. Grrrr.
